Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss' first taste of notoriety as a fiddler occurred in 1990, the year she was just 19 years old, and got the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. This was an achievement not just due to the artist's age, however, the album that brought her this recognition, I've Got That Old Feeling was actually third release in Krauss's catalog. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It came out in Champaign Illinois in the year she was 16. at the age of 14, she signed a deal with Rounder Records - one of the world's top folk music labels. Krauss has always been known for her extraordinary virtuosity, and her accomplishments in her early years. Her love for bluegrass music, one of the most enduring and unappreciated types of music in the American music, has also been an ongoing feature. Krauss is now an adult, having grown from being a teenage pixie into an accomplished performer and producer.
