
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, and film actor. She was born in January 31st, 1937 to January 19th, 2008. [1] Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was first seen in films towards the end of the 1950s and later appeared in prominent films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Later, she was in various television productions and was often an actor in guest roles. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, where she received several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born on January 31, 1937, in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish and were immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer.
